SAY HELLO TO THE POT WAREHOUSE
Neighbours. We’ve all got them. Unfortunately, a little too often, they can make life hard. Really hard. Your hedges are “too high”, bins mysteriously go missing, loud noises in the early hours of the morning – the list goes on.
So when you stumble across a good neighbour, it’s like finding out there’s a complimentary snack bar at your new work – pure gold.
Well, we’ve hit the snack bar jack pot! We’ve managed to score some of the coolest folks in Mona Vale as our new over-the-fence friends.
Today we introduce you to The Pot Warehouse. Owned by Grant & Annie, this little once-upon-a-time garage has become an iconic gem of Mona Vale.
Guarded by Black, the cutest little French Bulldog we’ve ever seen, the shop is filled with an abundance of pots, greens & treasures sure to please even the pickiest of customers.
Grant & Annie are no new kids on the block. Flash back 24 years to where their potting journey began in an empty old garage. Grant was busy working 3 months on & 3 months off coaching soccer in Japan when they stumbled across the opportunity to import pots through a friend.
Now in 2017 they are still standing in the exact same garage, although it’s hard to tell through the vast array of pots & plants that now spills out the back and around the side. Think Turkish dough bowls and Chinese glazed pots with plants and cacti’s of all shapes and sizes.
These life-long Beaches locals have become part of Mona Vale history and we couldn’t be happier to have them by our side – literally. Make sure you pop by and pick up a plant & pot or 2 – I know we sure did! See if you can spot them when you’re at our house next.
